Dr. Wallace Judd

Dr. Judd is a psychometrician who received his undergraduate degree from Princeton, his M.Ed. from Harvard, and his Ph.D. from Stanford University, doing his doctoral dissertation on computerized adaptive testing. He was a senior programmer at Xerox PARC, worked on the Lisa at Apple, and was Director of Training for Netscape. As president of ComTrain, Inc., he developed the Judd Test series of ten computerized hands-on performance tests, starting in 1989, and has since developed or consulted on dozens of performance tests for clients. Dr. Judd is Chief Scientist Authentic Testing Corporation, a small performance-testing consultancy. He has two patents, is author of 20 textbooks and numerous journal articles. He recently assisted in the development of the first ANAB-Accredited Virtual Reality testing program. The DoTell conversational testing system is the most recent Authentic Testing product.

Ruth Ramstad

Ruth Ramstad is a Sr. Product Manager at Pearson VUE, primarily involved with the Test Delivery platforms, responsible for reviewing requirements and creating technical solutions to best meet the needs of multiple and varied client programs. In addition to working with stakeholders and strategists to prioritize development projects, she liaises with business developers, subject matter experts, and technical teams to customize solutions for unique client needs. Ruth is also involved in defining Pearson VUE standards, products, and services. With more than two decades of working with test delivery systems, Ruth’s expertise includes the testing, organization, management, and alignment of requirements and software, as well as implementation strategies.
